Palawan :: Black Island

Image
*** Malajom Island or popularly known as Black Island is called such because of its black giant limestone cliffs.  I hope I could describe it any better but if you'd see it yourself, it is just immensely beautiful. Fine white sand and some white sand dunes surround the island.  You'd find that there's a sunken Japanese ship near its coast too.  Just be careful of box jelly fishes! The island also boasts three small caves with mini pool inside. If you happen to have a Calauit Safari Tour Package, be sure you won't miss to visit Black Island. :) Some more photos from my Tita's cam in and out of one of the caves :) Too bad some tourists vandalized some parts of the cave:( Below are photos from Sir Raphy Arcaina

Palawan :: North Cay Island

Image
*** From Coron Town Port, it would take about 3-4 hours to get to North Cay Island. Entrance fee is P200.00 per head.  You can take a lunch stop there  (given that you brought with you your lunch meals from town) or stay overnight for another fee.   Their toilet/bathrooms are functional and clean. I didn't ask how much the overnight fee was since the facilities were still under construction/renovation. North Cay Island, just like some parts of Coron were hit badly by Super typhoon Yolanda just late last year. I thought it would not do them any good if I'd take photos of the ruined cottages. Nevertheless, the island is very much still beautiful. The pristine water and long stretch of white sand beach is very inviting. But just like any beach you'd go, best to wear aqua shoes  and put on enough Sun Lotion/Sun Block Lotion. :)  Some photos taken by photographer, Sir Raphy Arcaina PS Mommy's my

Camiguin :: Mantigue Island

I've been meaning to get to Mantigue Island for years! Thanks to my friend since high school, Maricor, I finally got to go!!! :) :* We didn't get to explore much since we got there a little before lunch. It was just too hot to roam but we still enjoyed our quick little trip there. I hope I'd get to explore more of Mantigue the next time.
