I've been meaning to get to Mantigue Island for years! Thanks to my friend since high school, Maricor, I finally got to go!!! :) :* We didn't get to explore much since we got there a little before lunch. It was just too hot to roam but we still enjoyed our quick little trip there. I hope I'd get to explore more of Mantigue the next time.

I've been to a handful of zoos and botanical gardens in my lifetime but whenever I go to one the experience just is different every time. Mantianak Botanical Garden and Zoological Park in Sugbongcogon, Misamis Oriental I must say is North Mindanao's pride. The place is well-kept and the people there are very accomodating. You can have a picnic in their garden and you can stay for the night too. Check them out, here !    * click on the photo/s to enlarge
