Conquering Trepidations

           Quite often, most people expect so much of you. If not, they deliberately underestimate your capabilities. Along with those, there are personal and spiritual hurdles too, ergo you’ll find yourself pushed down or challenged. I’d like to believe that I do the latter.  It is my hope that you'll decide to do the same after reading this.      I may raise a lot of eyebrows on this statement but I’d like to believe that I was one of the popular kids in high school. No, I was not one of the smart ones. I just happened to be one of those whose presence is commanding because my personality dictates it. I didn’t have a specific group that I go with. I tried my best to mingle with different people as much as I could ─defying the usual teenage status quo to be with a peer group. That way, I could veer away from peer pressure. Better Paranoid Than Sorry

Cagayan de Oro has really learned the value of heeding a warning due to a bitter memory Tropical Storm Sendong left last year that claimed over 1000 lives. Now that Signal #3 for Super Typhoon Pablo is up and even when it hardly ever rained (it has been just drizzling for about 3 hours), a lot chose to evacuate.  For those who couldn't afford staying in a hotel,  there are covered courts that are offered by the local government.   One of the designated evacuation centers is the covered court of  Barangay Macasandig, where my folks live. I took it upon myself to have photos of such so that my friends  working/living afar(abroad) would know  how things are going. These are the photos I took  at Barangay Macasandig, 10pm, Dec 3, 2012
