Sidetrip to Benedictine Monks' (Monastery of the Transfiguration) Guest House

Image
The Monastery of the Transfiguration may be one of the most famous if not the most famous destination in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. I didn't get to take photos of the famed church inside because it was already dark  (we got to the old church way up top, given that we couldn't see the road signs but just in case you get to visit and so you won't get confused, once you get to their gate, a guard will most likely ask you to halt for security check.   Then, take the first left and just follow the road.  You won't miss the church's famed architectural structure). On my way out while taking photos, I noticed a gold statue as if watching the front door. I took a closer look and found this Non-Catholic idol. I wonder why they have a Buddhist idol. Feel free to comment below so I'd know what are your thoughts on this. ;)

Even with the sad note of losing a friend, it is with more happiness that I got a chance to have met such an honest and endearing friend for 19 years, Noralyn. This was at Bluewaters (I hope I got the name right, I couldn't confirm them via Google but will update this once I get a heads up or I chance to pass by the area) Jasaan, Misamis Oriental. **I wasn't very keen on taking photos of the details of the place at this time, sorry if it's not informative. Photographers who would want to have a rustic setting for a shoot may find Bluewaters interesting. ;) Noralyn "Maipot" Musa Mimbisa (Ma
