Hazel's Transformation

Image
I used to be boyish (given probably that my playmates were boys). Yet, wearing killer heels isn't new to me since I learned (and loved it and still do!) wearing tower heels at 8. I love the feeling of empowerment and challenge to balance high-heeled shoes. So imagine my surprise and excitement when my cousin, Hazel was chosen to represent her class for a pageant . Hazel is my no non-sense boyish cousin . So when she asked me to help out on how she'd successfully walk in a body hugging dress and heels, I was more than happy to step in. So proud of her! Here are photos of Hazel and her classmate Butch (please forgive the quality coz I only used standard lens and there was little light) on their event :) Butch, Hazel and Tita Lotis Paparazzi Joy, Hazel's sister Queen of Paparazzi Tita Lot

Got a Free Pass on De-Stressing!

As with most people, we have everyday troubles and so do I.  Having been exposed to the corporate world when I entered college, I know that even the big bosses who don’t carry cash much (as they live thru manager’s check, credit/debit cards) also have everyday troubles.  I must admit, there were times I was part of the trouble ;).  Kidding aside, I learned a lot from my bosses that stress is pretty much part of our lives.  It just is a matter of how you deal with it.  You just can’t let it get into you.  Otherwise, it will get to the best of you. I am not about to reveal to you the cause of my stress.  After all, I didn’t create this blog for people to read through me.  I just wanted to share what my thoughts are and I make sure that I don’t divulge too much information.  The beauty of keeping a journal onli

How To Cheat

This is not a tutorial on how to cheat.  I just wanted your attention.  Worked, right? :p This entry is merely trying to let-out a feeling of disgust.  As someone who writes as an expression of art (and does it for a living too), I really abhor people who "copy and paste" other people's work.  It's sad and despicable to acknowledge that some people just take pride on stealing other people's intellectual property/ies and plagiarize.  It's one thing to be a ghost-writer and another to be completely discredited over a work that you toil all day, if not, all night long. Take for example my attitude for Math.  I was and still am bad at Math but I'm proud to say that I never cheated my way out of it.  My classmates can attest that I hate cheating.  I wouldn't want to find myself trying to explain to the teacher how I solved the problem.  To cheat and gain good impression from your friends and the public, only strengthens and affirms a cheater's inse
