Surigao del Sur :: Enchanted River

***
Hinatuan's Enchanted River is a sight to behold.  Its crystal clear water is unbelievable.
Local folks say that the river is called enchanted
as its salt water for some reason flow without a visible source.  Too bad, I didn't get to take a dip
on its pristine waters as we were there just for a few minutes of photo op.  I'm looking forward to the opportunity of going back , hopefully too during off season
(it was summer, the place was a little crowded).

You'd pass through this wooden bridge on your way to the Enchanted River.
I couldn't find any signs of what the bridge is called.
If you've been following my blog, you know I have a thing with bridges. Haha!
Surigao del Sur's typical motor taxi (habal-habal).
Mostly a bumpy ride towards the Enchanted River.  Some mobile networks signal can't reach this area.
Tourists are starting to crowd by lunch time.  The parking area is about 150 meters away from the entrance.

With my cousin, Aireen (our 3rd out of town trip together).
Enchanted River's deepest point is 25 meters (82 feet) but worry not as there are life jackets and floaters that you could rent.

Oh yes, they have a life guard ;)
